Job Description

Role & responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and other Atlassian tools Set up and manage custom workflows, permissions, and schemes Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical issues related to Jira instances, including integrations with other tools Maintain and update user access control, permissions, and roles Provide training, documentation, and support Jira users, ensuring they are utilizing the system effectively Support Jira dashboards, reports, and filters Support the teams Principal Engineer with Jira maintenance, administration, upgrades, patching, and integration of additional plugins Support Plans (Advanced Roadmaps) and propose, implement and rollout solutions which support the organizations processes and user requirements Build relationships and work closely with other technical Group of Company security teams in different regions across the world Ensure configuration and code quality and best practices through peer reviews Document application playbooks and functionality implemented Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies which includes standups, sprint grooming and planning Preferred candidate profile Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting, solutioning and/or administering IT servers and applications Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Atlassian Jira Administrator Experience with installing, configuring, and upgrading Atlassian Data Center’s Jira In -dept knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and other Atlassian products (e.g., Plans (Advanced Roadmaps), Assets) Experience with Atlassian plugins (e.g., ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira) Experience using Jira Enterprise Mail Handler (JEMH) and/or Jira Email This Issue (JETI) for advanced email automation, notification, and workflow enhancements Knowledge of Jira Query Language (JQL) Basic knowledge of SQL, Linux command line, and database management Familiarity with REST APIs for Jira integrations with other tools
