Jewellery Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Hand-Sketched Jewellery Design:

• Create original jewellery sketches (rings, bracelets, chains. earrings etc.) based on client briefs or internal themes.
• Present elegant and clear design illustrations.
• Ensure each sketch is proportionally accurate and creatively distinctive.

Design Detailing and Precision:

• Focus on symmetry, proportions, and visual aesthetics in each design.
• Add detailed annotations for materials, stone types, and setting styles.
• Ensure clarity in sketches for smooth transition to CAD and manufacturing stages.

Collaboration with CAD Team:

• Communicate design intent clearly to CAD designers for 3D modeling.
• Stay Updated about market trends and customer preferences.
• Participate in design review meetings and incorporate feedback constructively.

Trend Research and Design Development:

• Stay informed on traditional and modern jewellery trends, styles, and motifs.
• Develop seasonal design collections or bespoke concepts based on market analysis.
• Concept Planning & Design Calendar Creation.

Design Documentation and Portfolio Maintenance:

• Catalog all designs with proper tagging, descriptions, and dates.
• Update personal and team portfolios periodically.
• Support documentation for design patents or copyrights if applicable.

Qualification:

Graduation

Experience:
2–5 years of experience in manual jewellery designing

Preferred Industry Background:
Jewellery Manufacturing, Jewellery Design Studios.

Age Bracket
22 – 40 years

Gender Preference:

Alternative Technologies:
