Jewellery CAD Designer

As a jewellery CAD designer, your role involves creating high-quality 3D jewellery CAD models for manufacturing. This includes crafting rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and custom fine-jewellery pieces. You will be sculpting organic and animal forms with accuracy, proportion, and aesthetic detail. Additionally, you will develop technical constructions such as stone-setting beds & prongs, hinges, clasps & movement mechanisms, and metal thickness & weight optimization. Your responsibilities also include preparing detailed dimensioned drawings and production-ready files, collaborating with the design team and artisans to ensure form, finish & functionality, and adapting designs based on creative direction while preserving brand language. Furthermore, you will work closely with vendors and 3D printing/manufacturing teams, maintaining strict quality standards and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: - Create high-quality 3D jewellery CAD models for manufacturing, including various jewellery pieces - Sculpt organic and animal forms with accuracy and aesthetic detail - Develop technical construction details like stone-setting beds & prongs, hinges, clasps & movement mechanisms, and metal thickness & weight optimization - Prepare detailed dimensioned drawings and production-ready files - Collaborate with the design team and artisans to ensure form, finish & functionality - Adapt designs based on creative direction while preserving brand language - Work closely with vendors and 3D printing/manufacturing teams - Maintain strict quality standards and attention to detail Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience as a jewellery CAD designer - Mastery of CAD software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, ZBrush, Blender, or equivalent sculpting tools - Strong sculpting skills for organic / animal forms - Excellent understanding of jewellery proportions, ergonomics, and detailing - Deep technical knowledge of jewelry manufacturing techniques, materials & alloys (gold, silver, platinum), and gem settings (pave, prong, bezel, invisible, etc.) - Ability to work from sketches, mood boards, and creative briefs - Eye for precision, refinement, and luxury finish - Ability to manage timelines and deliver production-ready CAD files Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with luxury or fine-jewellery brands - Understanding of rendering for presentation - Knowledge of jewellery finishing & craftsmanship - Portfolio with animal or sculpted jewellery work,
