Job Description We are looking for a dynamic and highly experienced Full Stack Lead / VP Engineering with deep expertise in JavaScript and React , and strong backend skills in Node.js and MongoDB . You will be responsible for driving the technical vision, overseeing system architecture, and leading a team of engineers to build scalable, performant web applications. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of modern web applications using JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB. Drive architectural decisions and set coding standards across the full stack. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business teams to define and deliver scalable solutions. Mentor and manage engineers, conduct regular code reviews, and ensure high code quality. Ensure best practices in performance, security, testing, and scalability. Own the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment and maintenance. Evaluate new technologies and make decisions to advance our tech stack and practices. Must-Have Skills: Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) understanding closures, prototypes, async/await, and event loop in depth. Extensive experience with React.js, including hooks, context, performance optimization, and state management (Redux/Context). Strong backend development experience with Node.js , Express, and REST APIs. Proficient with MongoDB , schema design, indexing, and aggregation. Experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Strong understanding of web security, performance, and scalable architecture. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to WebSockets, and microservices architecture. Exposure to LLM Apis. Familiarity with testing tools like Jest, Mocha, Cypress. Prior startup or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment. Soft Skills: Visionary leadership with hands-on coding ability. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and decision-making skills. Passion for clean code, learning, and mentoring.
