Responsibilities

  • Design and implement business process workflows using jBPM and Drools.
  • Integrate jBPM with enterprise applications and microservices.
  • Develop custom handlers, work items, and process definitions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing jBPM implementations.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security of workflow systems.
  • Maintain documentation and provide technical support for deployed workflows.

    • Additional Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Camunda, Activiti, or other BPM tools.
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms - Azure.
  • Contributions to open-source BPM projects or communities.

    • Technical and Professional Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 3+ years in jBPM.
  • Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0, process engines, and workflow orchestration.
  • Experience with Drools, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with KIE Workbench, Business Central, and jBPM runtime environments.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
