Javascript Developer (Node.js)

As a Node.js Developer at Innovsource's parent company FirstMeridian, you will play a crucial role in architecting and developing scalable backend services using Node.js. Your responsibilities will include designing and optimizing MongoDB data models and queries, integrating with frontend and DevOps teams, and writing clean, reusable, and well-tested code. You will also be expected to support a microservices-oriented architecture, monitor and manage services using PM2 in cloud environments, and swiftly resolve any production issues that arise. To excel in this role, you should have a solid command over JavaScript and Node.js, along with in-depth experience in MongoDB, including schema design, aggregation, and performance tuning. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture is crucial. Hands-on experience with cloud deployment platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as using PM2 for process management, is also required. Bonus points if you are familiar with Express.js or NestJS frameworks, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and container-based deployments, as well as JWT/OAuth for secure authentication workflows. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
