JavaScript Automation Lead

Primary Responsibilities

Own the QA and automation strategy for assigned applications
Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright
Develop robust test automation solutions for web and mobile platforms (using Selenium/Appium)
Analyze and debug automation failures, providing insights for quality improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies (US team involvement required, including night calls)
Identify areas of improvement and implement automation enhancements
Ensure CI/CD integration and maintain automation pipelines
Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing

Mandatory Skills

Strong JavaScript programming skills with OOPs concepts
Experience with JS-based testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai
Web UI automation using Selenium/Appium
QA methodologies and structured testing approaches
Hands-on with Git, Jenkins, bug tracking & test management tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong ownership and accountability, team collaboration
