Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
Spring Bootbased microservices
following best practices.
Build
scalable and resilient REST APIs
and integrate with downstream/upstream systems.
Implement
event-driven architectures using Kafka
(producers, consumers, topics, offsets).
Perform
API testing and validation
using tools like Postman / REST clients; ensure data accuracy and response integrity.
Write
unit, integration, and functional test cases
for services and APIs.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide fixes.
Collaborate with
business analysts, QA, DevOps, and architects
for end-to-end delivery.
Ensure adherence to
coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks
.
Participate in
Agile/Scrum ceremonies
(stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews).

Preferred Candidate Profile

5–6+ years of experience in Java
with strong hands-on expertise in
Spring Boot
.
Solid experience in
Microservices architecture
and RESTful API development.
Hands-on exposure to
Kafka
for message streaming and asynchronous processing.
Strong experience in
API testing, validation, and debugging
.
Good understanding of
HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and API contracts
.
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
and version control systems (Git).
Experience working in
Agile development environments
.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
