Java Software Engineer

As an Engineering Graduate with 7-10 years of experience, you will be responsible for contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. This includes developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining applications that adhere to best practices. Your role will involve ensuring that codes are well designed, testable, efficient, comply with specifications, and are secure to address potential security issues. You will be expected to respect the methodologies of the department and continuously strive to improve efficiency within the domain of applications. Proactively proposing enhancements and being proactive in technical areas will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. We are looking for a candidate with the following essential and technical competencies: - Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms. - Proficiency in Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. - Experience with Apache Camel (Integration Framework). - Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, SOAP & REST Web services. - Excellent understanding of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies such as JPA and Hibernate. - Hands-on experience with Junit for testing. - Proficient in code versioning tools like Gitlab and GitHub for maintaining code inventory. - Strong knowledge of Maven. - Familiarity with continuous integration (DevOps). - Knowledge of Sonar Cube for code quality assessment. - Understanding of Linux commands.
