Java Software Engineer

As a Java Software Engineer II at FICO in Bangalore, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our product development team and contribute towards thought leadership and innovation. In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales, professional services, and product management to architect, design, and develop a highly feature-rich product in collaboration with the VP of Software Engineering. Your key contributions will include building, deploying, and supporting modules of large, world-class enterprise-level solutions. You will be responsible for using diagrams and tools to write programs, investigate and fix bugs, and install solutions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to continually learn new technologies in related areas to enhance your skill set. We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in various technologies including the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Web, Spring Transactions, Spring Reactive Programming), Docker, Kubernetes control plane and eco-system, relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Couchbase), and CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Jenkins, Harness, Github Actions, Tekton, Helm). Proficiency in Java and SQL is a must, while experience with Go, Python, and C++ would be a plus. Knowledge of grpc and event-message services such as Dapper, Pulsar, ApacheMQ, RabbitMQ is desirable.
