WAF (Web Application Firewall) Security Engineer

Core Responsibilities

WAF Management
: You'll support and configure a variety of WAFs, including Imperva, Barracuda, Akamai, Fortinet, Radware, and F5 Big-IP.
Threat Prevention
: You'll use WAFs to prevent threats, with a strong understanding of
OWASP Top 10
threats, including
DDoS
,
XSS
, and
SQL injection
.
Network Integration
: You will integrate network security with IP networks, working with devices like Cisco and Juniper switches and routers.
Scripting & Automation
: You'll work in a
UNIX/Linux
environment and use
Python
or
Shell scripting
to automate system tasks.
Monitoring
: You will utilize enterprise monitoring tools such as
SevOne
