Job Description

About The Company:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead

    module-level design

    including database schema and API architecture for new and existing systems.       
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Managers during

    grooming and estimation

    phases.       
  • Own the

    end-to-end delivery

    of sprint commitments, including planning, execution, and defect resolution.       
  • Guide development team members by enforcing coding standards, design principles, and compliance.       
  • Conduct

    peer code reviews

    and ensure best practices in code quality and security are followed.       
  • Focus on quality delivery through

    unit testing, static code analysis,

    and

    regression readiness

    .       
  • Collaborate closely with QA teams for bug fixing, feature validation, and integration testing.       
  • Troubleshoot and resolve

    critical production issues (P1/P2)

    and participate in

    on-call rotations

    as needed.       
  • Support deployment activities across all environments including

    sandbox, SIT, UAT, and production

    .       
  • Actively participate in

    sprint ceremonies

    (planning, retrospectives, demos) and drive technical improvements.

Skills Required:

  • Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot.       
  • Proven experience with Microservices Architecture and building scalable systems.       
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).       
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).       
  • Experience in owning and delivering end-to-end SDLC for product modules.       
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.       
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Fintech or BFSI domains (e.g., trust/escrow systems, banking integrations).       
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, or Infrastructure-as-Code practices.       
  • Experience in start-up environments or fast-paced digital transformation projects. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  •  4-9 years of experience in software development with at least 2+ years in a technical/module lead role.      
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
