Java Lead

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of
57 developers
, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
Drive development efforts by contributing to
core coding, design reviews, and code optimization
.
Ensure adherence to
best practices
including unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and deployment readiness.
Collaborate with
front-end, QA, Product Management, and external vendor teams
to resolve dependencies.
Participate in
production defect triage, root cause analysis
, and ensure timely resolution.
Oversee
release management and production implementation activities
.
Drive
continuous improvement
in code quality and development processes.

Technical Skills and Experience

Mandatory:

7+ years
of experience in
Java backend development
.
Expertise in
Java 8+
,
Spring Boot
,
RESTful APIs
, and
Microservices Architecture
.
Hands-on experience with
Spring Cloud / Netflix OSS components
(Eureka, Zuul, Ribbon, Hystrix).
Proficient in
Kafka
for asynchronous data streaming and messaging.
Strong understanding of
Junit
and unit testing frameworks, with emphasis on code coverage metrics.
Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
(GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).

Good to Have:

Experience in
Docker
(image creation, deployment) and
Kubernetes orchestration
.
Familiarity with
AWS Cloud Services
such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
