This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• 8-12 Years of Strong experience in application designing, development and testing for backend server development.• 8+ years of strong implementation skills with Java and J2EE; Core Spring Framework and including other sub-projects like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.• Experience with REST API and JSON API.• Advanced knowledge of highly available microservices architecture on cloud (AWS, Cloud Foundry, etc.) and design across all systems• In-depth knowledge of RDMS Database (Postgres, MySQL, Microsoft SQL). Knowledge of NoSQL Databases will be a plus.• Knowledge of low-latency, high-throughput asynchronous messaging (e.g. AMPS, Kafka)• Adhere to agile best practices including test automation for the fast feedback loop & CI/CD• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices• Solid understanding of development using SCRUM and Agile practices• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.• Experience with build tools ant/maven.• Familiarity with Unix/Shell scripting and Hudson/Jenkins for deployment.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Any experience on python, Tibco EMS, Pivotal Gemfire, Kubernetes, Docker and other cloud technologies will be an advantage.• Experience with Investment Banking - Fixed Income domain will be an advantage
