Senior Java Engineers

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize backend services and platforms using Java.
Drive
technical improvements and best practices
across Payments engineering.
Contribute to
system design discussions
, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for
engineering excellence
.
Ramp up quickly in new and complex domain areas and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in
backend development
with strong expertise in Java.
Solid foundation in
data structures, algorithms, and system design
.
Experience building
large-scale distributed systems
.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new domains and technologies.
Strong collaboration and
problem-solving skills
.

Preferred candidate profile

Core Java (Java 8/11 or higher)
advanced concepts, concurrency, collections, memory management
Spring / Spring Boot
building scalable microservices
RESTful APIs & gRPC
design and implementation
Databases
– strong in SQL (MySQL/Postgres) + familiarity with NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis)
Messaging/Streaming
– Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent
Cloud Platforms
– AWS / GCP (compute, storage, networking basics)
CI/CD
– Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent pipelines
Testing frameworks
– JUnit, Mockito
System Design
– distributed systems, scalability, high availability
