About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join a collaborative and technically strong engineering team working on high-performance trading platforms. The role involves building and maintaining secure, scalable, and low-latency backend systems that support global financial markets.

You will work with modern backend technologies, APIs, cloud platforms, and databases, contributing to mission-critical systems where code quality, performance, and reliability are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java

Build and enhance applications using the Spring Framework / Spring Boot

Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code following best practices

Work with SQL databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity

Develop and deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–7 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development

Strong experience with Java and API development

5+ years of experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot

Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases

Experience working with PostgreSQL (good to have)

Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms

Good understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns

Good to Have

Experience working on low-latency or high-performance systems

Exposure to financial services or trading platforms

Knowledge of microservices architecture

Experience with cloud-native and automation tools
