Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic developer to join our Db2 for z/OS team. As part of the development team, you will be responsible for building Db2 modernisation tools that provides language support for developing Db2 for z/OS. Your main duties will include working on building new feature, resolving customers issues, deliver potential new enhancements with high quality based on our customer requirements. We are looking for someone who has a strong desire to learn new technologies and passionate about product quality and new technology. Candidates with strong programming, debugging, and problem troubleshooting skills are needed to excel in this position. About the product itself. Db2 for z/OS is the IBM premier enterprise relational database management system and is the undisputed leader for storing and harnessing mission critical data. It is the gold standard for system availability, scalability, security, and cost effectiveness. Join the innovative system verification team focused on delivering high quality software with heavy emphasis on stress testing for every outgoing delivery. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Programming skills in Java, SQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, React Js, Redux, Typescript, Node.js, Db2, Jenkins, testing framework like Junit, Jest. Knowledge in web driver IO(WDIO) and a desire to learning new technologies. Experience with GitHub, Knowledgeable about RDBMS Concepts and technologies, Familiar with software development cycle and Agile software development process, Good communication and problem-solving skills, Flexible working schedule to collaborate with developers located in U.S.A. Preferred technical and professional experience IBM Certified:Db2 for z/OS Fundamentals or similar certification,Knowledge about IBM System Z, Db2 for z/OS, Db2 Objects, user defined functions, and application development, knowledge about client server architecture as well.
