Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

Development & Implementation

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using

  Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirement analysis and design to coding, testing, and deployment.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

• Work with APIs, microservices, and distributed system components to ensure system scalability and reliability.

Sprint Participation

• Collaborate with the BA cum Project Manager and Product Owner (PO) to understand sprint goals and priorities.

• Deliver assigned sprint tasks within the defined timeline and quality standards.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.

Issue & Error Resolution

• Investigate, debug, and resolve application issues or defects raised during development and post-release.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting preventive measures.

Technical Collaboration

• Contribute to system design discussions and propose technical solutions aligned with architectural guidelines.

• Collaborate with other developers to integrate components and improve overall system performance.

• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and suggest their adoption where beneficial.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Java,

  Spring Boot,

  MySQL,

  Cassandra, and

  MongoDB.

• Solid understanding of

  scalable and distributed application design.

• Familiarity with

  microservices architecture

  is a plus.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
