Job Title: Java Developer Spring Boot & Kafka

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer with hands-on experience in Spring Boot and Kafka to join our dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable backend services and real-time event-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and robust microservices using

  Java

  and

  Spring Boot

  .
• Build and maintain

  Kafka

  event streams and messaging architectures for real-time data flow and integration between systems.
• Work closely with architects, DevOps, QA, and other developers to ensure smooth development and deployment processes.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and performance tuning sessions.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and continuous integration/delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.
• Maintain documentation and provide technical support when necessary.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in

  Java 8/11/17+

• Hands-on experience with

  Spring Boot

  .
• Expertise in

  Apache Kafka

  , Kafka Streams, and related messaging patterns.
• Experience in building

  RESTful APIs

  and

  microservices architecture

  .
• Understanding of

  event-driven architecture

  asynchronous processing

• Familiarity with

  database technologies

  (SQL and NoSQL – e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with tools such as

  Git

  Maven/Gradle

  Jenkins

• Knowledge of

  Docker

  and

  container orchestration platforms

  (Kubernetes is a plus).

Good to Have:

• Exposure to

  cloud platforms

  like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  , monitoring, and logging tools.
• Experience with

  unit testing frameworks

  like JUnit, Mockito.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record of working on backend systems and Kafka-based architectures.
