Job Description

Senior Software Engineer

Design, develop, and deploy
scalable microservices
using
Java and Spring Boot
.
Build, optimize, and maintain
cloud-native applications on AWS
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, product managers, DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Implement
RESTful APIs
, event-driven systems, and asynchronous messaging.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on
high availability
.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

Core Java (8/11 or higher)
strong knowledge of OOP, collections, multithreading, and design patterns.
Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
– hands-on experience in microservices-based applications.
AWS Services
– EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, etc.
Microservices Architecture
– service discovery, circuit breaker, distributed caching, API management.
Databases
– strong experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).

Good to have

Messaging & Streaming
– Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS.
CI/CD Pipelines
– Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Containers & Orchestration
– Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
Experience with
unit testing & integration testing frameworks
(JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
