Job Description

Role & responsibilities Experience with web applications, service oriented architecture and middleware software Design, develop, and maintain robust Kotlin/Java-based applications for enterprise-scale systems. Build secure and efficient RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services. Apply software design patterns and principles to ensure clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Write modular, reusable service components to promote code reuse and reduce duplication. Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews to ensure quality and alignment with best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and QA engineers. Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner in development and production environments. Preferred candidate profile 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Kotlin (or solid Java background) application development. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming , design patterns , and clean code principles . Experience with core AWS services Solid experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.) . Proficient in developing and consuming REST APIs . Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). Exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases and integration with backend services. Nice to Have: Experience in Kotlin or interest in working with Kotlin in a production environment. Exposure to microservices architecture and service reusability principles . Background in enterprise application development with microservices architecture. Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines , Exposure to test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit/integration tests using JUnit , Mockito , etc. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team in an agile environment. Self-motivated and eager to learn and adopt new technologies. Clear communication skills both written and verbal. Proactive attitude with a passion for learning new technologies
