As a Java Developer Lead, you will take ownership of technical strategy, mentor developers, and lead the end-to-end development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, ensuring adherence to coding best practices and development standards. Define software architecture and design scalable, maintainable systems. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical project scopes. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions. Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices across the team. Engage in hands-on development and resolve complex technical challenges. Monitor project timelines, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery. Stay updated with industry trends and integrate relevant innovations into our solutions. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters degree is a plus. Experience: 6-9 years of hands-on experience in Java development, including team leadership. Expertise in: Core Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate Database technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. Software design principles and architectural patterns Bonus Skills: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer) Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to lead with a proactive, hands-on approach Agile mindset and experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments Passion for mentoring, innovation, and delivering high-quality solutions
