Java Developer Lead

As an experienced JAVA/SPRING BOOT Lead/Senior Software Engineer at Open English, you will be a key member of the AI team responsible for building applications and APIs that utilize Generative AI and Large Language Models. Your role will involve leveraging your strong background in Python/Django and AI technologies to contribute to the innovative environment of the company. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop applications and APIs using Java and Spring Boot. - Implement highly scalable and available REST APIs with Python and the Django framework. - Utilize your expertise in software architecture and design patterns to enhance the overall system. - Collaborate with the team to incorporate Generative AI, Large Language Models, and other AI technologies into the projects. - Write unit tests using unittest or pytest to ensure the quality of the code. - Stay updated on AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and NLP concepts. - Deploy AI models on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and manage version control using Git. - Implement CI/CD flows using tools like Jenkins to streamline the development process. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 10 years of software development experience with a focus on Python/Django. - Extensive experience with Python and the Django framework (5+ years). - Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot (+10). - Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models, or related AI technologies is highly desirable. - Experience with RDBMS and distributed multi-tier systems. - Knowledge of AI concepts, machine learning, and cloud platforms. - Proficiency in writing unit tests and using version control systems.
