Java Developer

As a skilled and driven Java Developer at FinFirm Solutions, your role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design effective software solutions. You will be responsible for developing clean, efficient, and testable code using Java and associated frameworks. Additionally, you will design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle PL/SQL, optimizing database performance through efficient SQL queries and PL/SQL tuning. Your participation in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to maintenance, is crucial. Identifying and resolving software defects, bugs, and performance issues are also part of your responsibilities. Keeping up with emerging technologies and best practices in Java development to support continuous improvement is expected. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design effective software solutions. - Develop clean, efficient, and testable code using Java and associated frameworks. - Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle PL/SQL. - Optimize database performance through efficient SQL queries and PL/SQL tuning. - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle: requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues. - Keep up with emerging technologies and best practices in Java development to support continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on experience in Java development with a solid grasp of programming principles and best practices. - Strong knowledge of Java, Spring or Spring Boot, and PL/SQL. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. - Experience or understanding of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
