Java Developer

Role & responsibilities Technical Skills Required: - Experienced in Java, Golang, or ideally both! - 3+ years of software development experience in any of the following: Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful/API services, micro-services. - Experience with messaging or event streaming technologies (RabbitMQ/Kafka) would be an added advantage. - Experience in design, develop, and deploy modular systems in Docker/Kubernetes. - Expert in analysing and consuming data from SQL ad NOSQL Database management systems preferably Oracle and Cassandra - Test Driven Design (TDD) and unit testing as part of software development using packages, Mockito, JUnit etc. - CI/CD environment (Jenkins/Ansible) - Experience working in an Agile environment, partnering with teams across the organization. - Experience mentoring and leading teams of developers. - Collaborate with Product and Business stakeholders to plan and prioritize new feature development. - Document newly implemented technologies and application functionality.
