Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer JD

Role:

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using
Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
.
Build and integrate
RESTful APIs
and backend services.
Participate in
solution design, technical discussions, and performance optimization
.
Implement
CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and code reviews
.
Work closely with
DevOps, QA, and Product teams
to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure
security, scalability, reliability, and best coding practices
across services.
Troubleshoot production issues and support deployment activities.

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in
Core Java (8+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate
Hands-on experience with
Microservices, REST APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI
Experience with
Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
– ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3 (good to have)
Knowledge of
Messaging/Streaming
– Kafka / RabbitMQ
Experience with
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab)
Database experience –
MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle / MongoDB
Strong understanding of
Design Patterns & Distributed Systems
Experience with
Unit Testing frameworks
– JUnit / Mockito

Good to Have

Experience with
API Gateway, OAuth2, Keycloak, Security frameworks
Knowledge of
Reactive Programming / Spring WebFlux
Exposure to
Event-Driven Architecture
Experience working in
Agile/Scrum environments
