Java Consultant

As a developer on the team, you will be expected to work independently with minimal guidance. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the technical aspects of the project, conducting code reviews, providing defect support, and assisting with production implementation. It is crucial to ensure that best practices, such as unit testing and maintaining code coverage, are followed throughout the project. Collaboration with various external teams, including Front end, Testing, Product Management, and 3rd party teams, will be essential to drive the project forward and resolve any dependencies that may arise. In terms of technology experience, we require candidates to have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 years of development experience in Java is mandatory. Proficiency in Java, Springboot, REST, Microservices, Netflix OSS/Spring Cloud, and Kafka is necessary. You should be able to write Junit test cases and ensure that the code coverage meets the agreed-upon standards. Real-time experience with projects involving Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is a must. While not mandatory, it would be beneficial to have knowledge of working within an ecosystem that involves creating Docker Images and orchestrating them using Kubernetes. Additionally, familiarity with AWS cloud services from a development integration perspective would be advantageous.,
