Java Backend Developer - Spring MVC/Hibernate

Job Description

Role Overview: As a Mid-Senior Level Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, highperformance applications. You should have a strong grasp of Java, as well as experience working with databases, APIs, and microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and related technologies. Work closely with front end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement new features and improve existing systems. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely and efficient manner. Implement unit testing, integration testing, and continuous deployment processes. Ensure best practices in coding standards and code reviews to maintain high quality deliverables. Contribute to the architectural design of the platform and participate in technical discussions. Stay up to date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in backend development. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Java backend development . Strong proficiency in Java 8 or higher. Experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.). Hands on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Hibernate, JPA). Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Docker). Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage. Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have: Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
