Java Backend Developer - Spring MVC/Hibernate

Job Description

Role Overview: As a Mid-Senior Level Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications. You should have a strong grasp of Java, as well as experience working with databases, APIs, and microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and related technologies. - Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement new features and improve existing systems. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely and efficient manner. - Implement unit testing, integration testing, and continuous deployment processes. - Ensure best practices in coding standards and code reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables. - Contribute to the architectural design of the platform and participate in technical discussions. - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in backend development. Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in Java backend development . - Strong proficiency in Java 8 or higher. - Experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.). - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Hibernate, JPA). - Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Docker). - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. - Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: - Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). - Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
