Java Backend Developer

Job Description

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend applications primarily using Java and the Spring Boot framework. Utilize Node.js extensively for building and consuming APIs, developing microservices, and integrating with diverse systems and platforms. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards in both Java and JavaScript environments. Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and other backend services using both Spring Boot and Node.js. Work with various databases (relational and NoSQL) and optimize database interactions for performance within both Java and Node.js applications. Implement robust security and data protection measures across all backend components. Troubleshoot and debug production issues effectively in both Java and Node.js environments. Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services and APIs built with both technologies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and technology stack. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and related backend technologies. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing across the team. Potentially contribute to DevOps tasks such as CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance for both Java and Node.js applications.
