As an Application Engineer at EY, you will be a part of the Application Development team, responsible for building and developing financial solutions for client systems. Your role will involve handling the development life cycle, seeking innovative application-based solutions, working in AGILE teams, automating processes, and implementing security standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Handling development life cycle including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance - Seeking innovative application-based solutions - Working in AGILE teams - Automating processes that can be automated - Implementing security standards **Qualifications Required (Must have):** - More than 3 years of experience in: - Core JAVA (8 or above) - Springboot - RESTful APIs - Microservices architecture - Maven - AWS skills mainly on services such as S3 bucket, step functions, storage gateway, ECS, EC2, DynamoDB, AuroraDB, Lambda functions, Glue **Qualifications Required (Good to have):** - Code management in Git - CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub) - Docker/Kubernetes - SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) - Testing frameworks - Unit Testing (JUnit/Mockito), integration testing, mutation testing, TDD - Kafka - GraphQL/Supergraph - Using Splunk/Honeycomb dashboards - Interacting with APIs - Security in AWS - Containers - AWS certification At EY, you will work in small teams within an AGILE framework, developing products following a DevOps culture.
