Java Architecture

As an experienced Software Engineer, your mission is to help lead the team of innovators and technologists towards creating next-level solutions that enhance the business operations. Your expertise in design, analytics, development, coding, testing, and application programming will elevate the team's performance to meet the business and functional requirements. Your deep knowledge in technology domains will be crucial in setting strategic directions and solving complex problems both internally and externally. Responsibilities: - Managing and performing complex software engineering tasks including requirements gathering, design, development, documentation, and release preparation. - Building highly optimized multi-platform consumer applications. - Providing technical leadership and architectural guidance for software system enhancements. - Overseeing team members, driving solutions, and managing research and development into next-generation digital technologies. - Providing input into estimates for features and enhancements and identifying ways to improve design and development processes. - Collaborating with other technology teams in solution designs and implementations. - Taking ownership and responsibility for key deliverables. Required Skills: - Significant experience in Systems Engineering and Software development. - Proficiency in at least one of the following disciplines: Java, J2EE, etc. - Full Stack Java development lead experience is preferred. - 3+ years of experience in mobile integration Platform is a plus. - Demonstrated experience in working across multiple teams in a global organization. - Familiarity with new technologies such as cloud and virtualization. - Strong grasp of object-oriented principles, architectural software principles, and agile delivery methodologies. Qualifications: - Minimum of 10+ years of applications development work with Java experience. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership and architectural guidance. - Knowledge of version control practices and procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading a team of responsive web or mobile developers and possess a solid foundation in software programming, software patterns, and experience across multiple languages and platforms. Understanding architecture and designing high-volume transaction systems, along with knowledge of horizontal and vertical scalability, are essential for delivering high-standard products.
