Job Description

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of distributed systems for high-performance, scalable backend services. This role requires strong technical leadership and expertise in modern architecture.

What You'll Do:

As a Software Architect, you will define and drive architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and observability across distributed systems.
Define and own the architecture for microservices-based systems.
Design and implement APIs and communication protocols using gRPC.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability across services.
Integrate observability solutions using OpenTelemetry (OTel) for tracing and monitoring.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with security and performance standards.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Expertise You'll Bring:

We are looking for a seasoned architect with deep technical knowledge and leadership skills to guide complex projects.
10+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
Strong proficiency in Java and Go programming languages.
Hands-on experience with gRPC and Microservices architecture.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design, and inter-service communication.
Experience with OpenTelemetry (OTel) for observability and monitoring.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
