Java and Angular Full Stack Developer - Assistant Vice President

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst position at our company involves actively participating in the establishment and execution of new or updated application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. The main goal of this role is to contribute to activities related to applications systems analysis and programming. We are looking for a skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to become a part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in both frontend and backend development, specializing in Angular and Java. Responsibilities: - Develop and manage full-stack applications utilizing Angular on the frontend and Java on the backend - Design and deploy responsive, user-friendly interfaces with Angular (version 13+) - Create robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture - Utilize MongoDB and Oracle for data persistence - Implement event-driven architectures through Apache Kafka - Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of frontend and backend systems - Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to incorporate intuitive user interfaces - Engage in code reviews and contribute to the continuous enhancement of development practices Required Qualifications: - At least 9 years of software Fullstack development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position - Proficiency in Angular (version 13+) and TypeScript - Experience in developing scalable and maintainable UI applications using Micro Front End (MFE) principles - Expertise in Java development, encompassing Core Java concepts and Spring Framework - Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design - Proficiency in MongoDB and Oracle, including schema design and query optimization - Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures - Sound understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques - Ability to write unit and integration tests for both frontend and backend - Thorough knowledge of application security principles and implementing secure coding practices - Strong communication skills with the capability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Angular migration between major versions - Knowledge of state management solutions (e.g., NgRx, RxJS, Akita, Signals) - Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Contributions to open-source projects Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description offers an overview of the tasks typically performed.
