Role & responsibilities Design and deliver Japanese language training programs (N5 to N3/N2 level) for students and staff. Prepare students for JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and BJT (Business Japanese Proficiency Test). Conduct speaking, listening, reading, and writing sessions using interactive and student-centric methods. Organize cultural exchange activities and awareness programs related to Japan. Monitor students progress and provide regular feedback and evaluations. Create custom training materials and adapt content to the proficiency level of learners. Collaborate with placement and international relations teams for student readiness programs. Stay updated with latest trends in language teaching and JLPT updates. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching Japanese language, preferably in an academic or training institution. JLPT N2 or higher certification is mandatory (N1 preferred). Bachelors or Masters degree in Japanese Language / Literature or any relevant field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English. Familiarity with online teaching tools and language learning platforms. Experience in preparing students for JLPT and other standardized Japanese exams. Desirable Skills: Prior experience teaching engineering or management students. Knowledge of Japanese corporate culture and business communication. Ability to incorporate technology into language instruction.
