Job Summary:

The JAMF Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the JAMF Pro environment to support the organization’s Apple device management strategy. This role involves deploying, configuring, and securing macOS and iOS devices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and providing technical support to end-users. The administrator collaborates with various IT teams to optimize the Apple ecosystem and enhance user experience.

Must Have Skills

• Strong knowledge and experience in JAMF administration
• Packaging and deploying applications for MAC environment in an enterprise
• Strong understanding of the MAC OS platform (10.5 onwards) and MAC client computing technologies
• Ability to evaluate, recommend, and deploy technologies and solutions to Apple user base
• Good knowledge of Apple scripting and automation in MAC environment
• Experience with MAC OS Imaging using JAMF and similar tools
• Experience in backing up, restoring, and maintaining the JSS MySQL database
• Excellent Communication Skills

Good To Have Skills

• Understanding of varying IT software and hardware platforms
• Basic understanding of networking and server technologies (Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WAN/LAN, VPN, etc.)
• Experience with reporting capabilities and customizing reports per business needs

Key Responsibilities

• Managing, updating, and distributing applications and software using JAMF to MAC users worldwide
• Providing support to Global Service Desk & IT Client services worldwide
• Working with IT and Product teams to gather requirements for application packaging
• Following Change Management processes for successful releases to MAC environment
• Collaborating with the security team to ensure a secure desktop environment

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
