About the Role:

J2EE Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
Java/J2EE-based enterprise applications
.
Develop and implement
web services (RESTful and SOAP)
, APIs, and microservices.
Work with
JSP, Servlets, EJB, JDBC
, and other J2EE technologies to build robust backend systems.
Collaborate with front-end developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
Conduct
unit testing, integration testing, and debugging
to ensure application stability.
Participate in
code reviews
and provide technical feedback.
Work with
databases
(MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) for query optimization, schema design, and data integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
2–6+ years
of hands-on experience in
Java/J2EE application development
.
Strong proficiency in
Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JDBC
, and related technologies.
Experience with
Spring Framework
(Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) and
Hibernate/JPA
.
Good understanding of
object-oriented programming (OOP)
,
design patterns
, and
software engineering principles
.
Experience with
RESTful and SOAP-based web services
.
Familiarity with
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and JSON
.
Experience with
version control tools
(Git, Bitbucket, or SVN).
Working knowledge of
build tools
(Maven, Gradle) and
CI/CD pipelines
.
