Core Responsibilities:

• Assembly and Installation:Fitting and assembling mechanical components, machinery, and equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintenance and Repair:Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance.
• Technical Drawings:Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand the design and specifications of mechanical systems.
• Tool Proficiency:Utilizing hand and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, fit, and assemble components.
• Safety Compliance:Adhering to safety regulations and protocols in all operations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaboration:Working with engineers, other technicians, and team members to optimize equipment performance and solve mechanical issues.
• Documentation:Maintaining records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Specific Tasks:

• Ensuring proper alignment, fit, and clearance of components.
• Verifying dimensions, tolerances, and specifications of parts.
• Identifying and rectifying system malfunctions.
• Fabricating and welding components as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
