Job Description

An ITI Fitter job involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment. Key duties include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing fitting and cutting on metal, and troubleshooting equipment issues to ensure safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Assembly and installation: Assemble, install, and fit mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and machinery according to specifications and blueprints.
Maintenance and repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair or replace worn-out or damaged parts to ensure machinery is in good working order.
Technical interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
Fabrication: Perform fitting, cutting, grinding, and other fabrication tasks on metal using hand and power tools.
Quality and safety: Conduct inspections to ensure equipment functions correctly and complies with all safety standards.
Documentation: Keep records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Collaboration: Work with engineers and other team members to optimize equipment performance and solve problems.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 60 months

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
