Job Description

Position

Role Overview:

ITI Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
preventive and breakdown maintenance
of high-speed machines.
Ensure smooth running of equipment such as
fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, or wrapping machines
.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults quickly to minimize downtime.
Assist in
machine installation, alignment, and calibration
.
Maintain
lubrication schedules, spare parts inventory
, and maintenance logs.
Support the production team in achieving
OEE and productivity targets
.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with
safety standards
and company SOPs.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical understanding of
mechanical systems and high-RPM equipment
.
Experience in
FMCG / Packaging / Adhesive / Chemical
manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read
mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals
.
Good coordination with the production team and proactive problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills and MS Excel knowledge will be an added advantage.

Qualification & Experience:

ITI – Fitter / Maintenance / Mechanical Trade.
2-5 years
of experience in maintenance of high-speed machines.
Candidates from
FMCG / Packaging industry
will be preferred first.
