IT Technology Services Senior Specialist- Business Continuity Owner, Basis, HANA, Netweaver

What you'll do:

In your role as Business Continuity Automation Owner you are enabling the delivery of robust, downtime optimized and highly automated lifecycle management activities operated within ECS.
You will take ownership of integration scenarios and operational processes considering accelerated growth (RISE with SAP). Focus of your activities will be increasing automation in NetWeaver Application Setup and Operation covering also all multi-cloud aspects (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform) with focus on HANA, Sybase, MSSQL databases, High Availability, Pacemaker, cluster setup and integration scenarios along with stabilization improvements to help Operations to reduce manual effort and cost structure (lower TCO) and deliver faster services to our customers.

Following activities will be part of your role:

• Contribute to cloud-like innovation, standardized provisioning and maintenance activities for seamless customer experience, ideally hands-on experience for system provisioning
• Optimize and stabilize NetWeaver lifecycle management procedures in a pro-active way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities
• Covering multi-cloud providers like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Structure and coordinate activities, action plans incl. requirements engineering, prioritization, and creating aligned timelines for deliverables
• Create and align test plans, support and perform testing/validation and roll-out activities
• Change Management tracking of technical topics in Jira
• Drive issue resolution together with the team and utilizing the expert network
• Support technology-related projects in complex environment
• Manage relationship between different stakeholder groups inside and outside ECS Delivery

What you bring:

• Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation
• Strong SAP BASIS, Database and system operations know-how, ideally in multi-cloud environment
• Expert in Business Continuity, High Availability & Disaster Recovery topics.
• Best practices experience in an SAP application / technology / solution (NetWeaver)
• Knowledge in design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures
• Project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and experience working in international teams
• Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.
