IT Team Lead - Development

You will be responsible for leading a team of developers and providing technical guidance in Java application development. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical leadership to a team of developers - Assisting developers in developing new modules, enhancements, and fixing defects - Collaborating with various teams to analyze and design new modules - Estimating and planning the development of new features - Facilitating communication between development teams and other departments - Developing new features, conducting code reviews, and ensuring systems documentation and knowledgebase management for support efficiencies - Supporting users by creating documentation and assistance tools - Investigating alternatives and new technologies to present for architectural review - Exploring opportunities to enhance job accomplishments Qualifications required for this role: - 7+ years of application development experience in Java - 3+ years of experience in Python - Experience in leading development teams and designing complex solutions - Proficiency in Spring framework, front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, and ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA - Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Agile SDLC - Ability to prioritize tasks, resolve technical issues, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively - Familiarity with MVC, unit testing, messaging, and SOAP/RESTful APIs - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience Nice to have qualifications: - Knowledge in architecting and implementing cloud-based applications - Experience with microservices, micro-frontends, financial industry, CICD pipelines, and various Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, GraphQL) Join us at Citco for a challenging and rewarding role in a global business, with opportunities for personal and professional development, competitive salary and benefits, and a great working environment.
