IT Systems Administrator

You are a leading manufacturer of Speciality Chemicals & Ion Exchange Resins with over fifty-nine years of experience in serving various industries such as Textile, Paper, Leather, Agro/Fertilizer, Paint, Construction, Dyestuff, Waste Water Treatment, Thermal Power Plants, Petrochemicals complex, etc. Your extensive network includes offices & agents nationwide, along with three production facilities in Maharashtra and two R & D laboratories. As an established company, you are looking for a qualified individual with the following qualifications and experience to join your IT department: - Ideal candidate should have a B.Sc. in Computers/IT, B.C.A., or Diploma in Computers/IT. - Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the IT department/Services of a manufacturing company. - Strong command over oral & written communication skills. - Prior experience in a similar role within the Chemicals/Petro Chemical/Plastic/Rubber/Paints industry is preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve systems and business applications related issues. - Manage hardware devices like servers, desktops, networks, printers, scanners, etc. - Handle security threats, antiviruses, firewalls, users, and domains. - Administer internet cyber threats, security protocols, and email administration. - Manage data and protection on premise/Cloud architecture and services. - Coordinate with management, users, and service providers. - Oversee ERP and Business applications updates, upgrades, reengineering process, and developments. - Educate and train users on security lapses, internet cyber threats, and device handling. Essential Skills: - Working knowledge of SQL and SQL Database administration, VB.Net/C#, windows framework, crystal report, report writers, ERP, and MS Office. - Experience in Window server operating systems, AD, domains, and users management. - Familiarity with backup and restore tools and procedures. - Knowledge of email users administration, internet b2b and b2c portals, third-party website development tools. - Negotiation skills for vendor and service provider renewals. - Ability to deliver within the specified time frame and budget.
