IT Support Specialist

Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Specialist Job Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain computer systems, applications, and networks. Identify, escalate, and resolve tickets requiring urgent attention. Diagnose issues, allocate appropriate resources, test fixes, and follow up to ensure resolution. Provide timely and effective technical support to users. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant support policies to deliver accurate solutions and document resolutions. Handle and resolve helpdesk requests efficiently. Required Skills: Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably Python). Proficiency in Linux commands and SQL/NoSQL queries. Strong understanding of Linux services and web servers (e.g., Nginx). Experience troubleshooting issues on Linux Windows OS. Familiarity with Ubuntu OS. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in a rotational shift, including nights. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred). At least 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure. Nice to Have: Knowledge of AWS or other cloud hosting platforms.
