IT Support Engineer(Remote Support)

We are looking for a qualified and experienced System Administrator to join our IT team in Palarivattom, Kochi.
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, and have hands-on experience in managing IT systems and infrastructure.

This role involves providing remote support to our UAE-based clients, along with managing internal IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
• Create and manage user accounts, group policies, folder permissions, and shared drives
• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot Office 365 services including Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint
• Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN connections
• Provide support for PABX/VoIP systems, including basic call routing and user configurations
• Implement and monitor backup solutions (local/cloud) and ensure data recovery readiness
• Perform server performance tuning, resource optimization, and capacity planning
• Apply security patches, updates, and hotfixes regularly across servers and systems
• Monitor server health, logs, and system alerts using tools like Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, or third-party monitoring tools
• Configure and manage file servers, print servers, and application servers
• Manage and maintain virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Ensure domain controller health and perform regular checks and troubleshooting (replication, time sync, etc.)
• Assist in IT asset management, including inventory of server hardware, licenses, and warranties
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and support logs
• Collaborate with vendors or external support when needed for escalated server or network issues
