Job Summary

Byte Crest Technologies is looking for a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to join its team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer systems, and supporting daily IT operations. Freshers with a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and networking are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees and resolve day-to-day IT issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with Windows operating system installation, configuration, and updates.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and basic networking issues.
• Configure email accounts, user accounts, and system access.
• Maintain IT asset records and technical support documentation.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and basic data backups.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT professionals.
• Ensure proper functioning and security of office IT infrastructure.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with MS Office and common business applications.
• Knowledge of printer, scanner, and peripheral configuration.
• Basic understanding of antivirus and IT security practices.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are eligible.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Candidates with academic projects or practical IT support experience will be preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
