IT Solutions & CCTV Technician

As an IT Solutions & CCTV Technician, your role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV cameras and security systems at client locations. You will also be responsible for performing regular system checks, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades for both IT and CCTV infrastructure. Providing technical support, training, and guidance to clients on CCTV and IT system usage is a key aspect of your responsibilities. It is important to document all installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and service requests accurately. Collaboration with internal teams and vendors for complex installations or escalated support needs is also part of your duties. You are expected to stay updated on the latest trends in surveillance, IT products, and security technologies. Your qualifications for this role include a diploma or degree in Electronics, IT, or a related field. Proven experience (1+ years preferred) in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV and IT systems is required. Basic networking knowledge such as LAN setup, device configuration, and the ability to read technical manuals is essential. Strong communication and customer service skills, along with problem-solving abilities, are also necessary. You should have the physical ability to perform field work at various sites, possess a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel for site visits. Skills required for this position include CCTV installation and maintenance, network and IT equipment setup, technical troubleshooting and documentation, customer support and training, as well as time management and teamwork.
