About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving new business growth for Datamatics' IT and software offerings in the North American market. The ideal candidate will be a strategic hunter with a proven track record of acquiring new logos, building a territory, and selling advanced technology solutions including AI, Data, Cloud, and Enterprise Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Hunting:

    • Hunt for and acquire new logos/clients, with a major focus on Must Have Accounts (MHAs).
    • Leverage an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business and build a strong sales 'territory'.
    • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting and networking to presentation, negotiation, and final closure.
    • Achieve and consistently exceed individual sales revenue targets.
  • Market & Product Expertise:

    • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Datamatics' IT/software business offerings, value proposition, and differentiators.
    • Possess a thorough understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the competitor landscape within the North American region.
    • Continuously analyze and map customer needs to our business strengths.
  • Sales Process & Strategy:

    • Understand the customers buying cycle and strategically navigate it.
    • Contribute actively to the overall sales growth strategies and plans.
    • Respond to RFPs, prepare bid documents, review legal clauses, and manage all supporting documentation.
    • Anticipate potential client escalations and keep sales leadership informed for timely intervention.

Desired Competencies & Experience

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in technology/IT/software sales.
  • At least 3 years of specific experience selling

    AI, Data, Cloud, Enterprise Platforms, CRM, and Automation

    solutions to the

    North American region

    .
  • Demonstrable experience in hunting new accounts and building a sales pipeline from scratch.

Education:

  • Any Graduate or Post Graduate degree.
