Job Description

Role Overview: As the IT Purchase Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services. Your role will involve evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and budget constraints. You will play a key role in supporting the organization's technological needs by ensuring high-quality, cost-effective purchasing. Key Responsibilities: - Identify IT hardware, software, and service requirements in collaboration with the IT department. - Source and evaluate vendors to ensure the best quality and pricing. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers. - Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure proper documentation. - Monitor purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with procurement policies. - Resolve issues related to delays, defective items, or incorrect deliveries. - Assist in preparing and managing the IT procurement budget. - Conduct cost analyses to identify savings opportunities. - Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with the allocated budget. - Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and legal regulations. - Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and communications with vendors. - Conduct audits to ensure adherence to policies and identify process improvements. - Work closely with IT teams to identify technology needs and specifications. - Support end-users in resolving procurement-related queries or issues. - Provide recommendations for streamlining the IT procurement process. - Stay updated on the latest IT products, trends, and market conditions. - Recommend innovative technologies or solutions that can benefit the organization. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT procurement or a related role. - Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and service procurement. - Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools. - Strong understanding of contract negotiation and vendor management. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Analytical mindset and attention to detail. - Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.,
