Job Description

The IT Purchase Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services. You will be evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and budget constraints. Your role is crucial in supporting the organization's technological needs by ensuring high-quality, cost-effective purchasing. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying IT hardware, software, and service requirements in collaboration with the IT department. You will source and evaluate vendors to ensure the best quality and pricing, establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers. Furthermore, you will prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure proper documentation, monitor purchase requisitions, and resolve any related issues such as delays, defective items, or incorrect deliveries. You will also assist in preparing and managing the IT procurement budget, conduct cost analyses to identify savings opportunities, and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with the allocated budget. Ensuring compliance with organizational procurement policies and legal regulations, maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and communications with vendors, and conducting audits to improve processes will be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating closely with IT teams to identify technology needs and specifications, supporting end-users in resolving procurement-related queries or issues, and providing recommendations for streamlining the IT procurement process are also key aspects of this role. Staying updated on the latest IT products, trends, and market conditions and recommending innovative technologies or solutions that can benefit the organization will be essential. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field. Experience: - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT procurement or a related role. Technical Skills: - Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and service procurement. - Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools. - Strong understanding of contract negotiation and vendor management. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Analytical mindset and attention to detail. - Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.,
